Task 2

Strengths Potential problems Examples Viral advertising its the audience that is spreading it so more and more people will be able to see it  after a while something viral begins to die out and get pushed to the side by other viral ads or even how they can get ads viral because to get something to go viral is incredibly difficult. for example the galaxy chocolate ad with the pony walking backwards last year which was viral but didn't stay viral for a long time  Native advertising it is a less intrusive way of recommending new products from different companies and businesses to consumers. it doesn't just advertise cars and watches, it advertises useful products such as cream for sensitive skin   it can be deceptive because the title can say one thing and then they can be led into an ad which says something completely different and people become disappointed   for example on websites like buzzfeed they will have ads at the bottom of the page whi...

Task 4

This is abuse: This mainly targets females even though it can target both genders. Someone concerned with domestic abuse in relationships has made this short ad. The purpose is to get people thinking about what domestic abuse really is and to make them question if they are going through domestic abuse or not. They use direct and indirect address in an authoritative way. They use direct address in the ending where text shows up on screen and says if you could see yourself, would you see abuse which is direct because   it’s asking you a question and is authoritative because its speaking as if it’s happened to them before. The entire add apart from the end is indirect because it is dialogue between two others and is not directly talking to the audience. B e food smart This targets parents of young children. This is made by a food organisation called change4life and its purpose is to raise awareness on how eating curtain foods every breakfast time can lead to problems do...

bovril advert analysis

there is an over the shoulder shot of Yousef opening the bag containing the Bovril to show the importance of the bag. the camera then jump cuts to a medium shot of Yousef holding the bag whilst opening it and a bright light shines on his face. this is to show that what ever is in the bag holds a lot of importance. he then brings out the Bovril which is seeming to be emitting this light. this shows that Bovril is a good product. the British anthem is also playing to show that Bovril is a traditional British product and you would be following tradition to buy it. the slogan is "Bovril be the best" to exaggerate that you will better yourself by buying Bovril.

Under Armour trailer analysis

this trailer uses a soundtrack that repeats the numbers 1 to 6 then increasing from 1 to 8. this is all while various athletes such as Stephan Curry train in under armour gear to showcase the gear. they do this to show the intensity on their faces and to show how hard they are working from the tired facial expressions and the sweat on their faces, this also shows their emotion and passion toward the sport they do and the entire point is to show that if you wear under armour you can be like these athletes. there are also close ups on the object they need to do the sport. Stephan curry is holding a basketball to show that he plays basketball. they also do mid shots on him performing dribble moves to show that he is great at basketball this also enhances the look of under armour because their logo is in the shot and it shows that if you want to get good like Stephan curry you have to wear under armour. there is also a long shot of multiple Stephan Curry's in shot. this is to show that...
